1. About BitePass
BitePass is a membership app that gives members access to deals at partner restaurants in Lebanon. It is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [address] (“BitePass”, “we”).
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and give correct information. One account per person.
- You can sign up with your email address and a password, or with Google or Apple. Email sign-ups confirm their address with a code before the first sign-in.
- Keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for activity in your account.
- A membership is personal and can be used on one phone at a time. Signing in on a new phone requires a code sent to your email address and signs you out on the other phone.
3. Membership
- Free trial: new members can use BitePass free of charge for 7 days, once per person.
- Paid plans: after the trial, deals require a paid Monthly or Annual membership, bought in the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the app and by the store before you buy; payment is charged to your store account.
- Automatic renewal: memberships renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel your membership in your App Store or Google Play account settings. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the store first.
- Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
- Promo codes and gifts: BitePass may give membership time through promo codes or gifts. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or resold, and may have their own conditions (e.g. validity, one use per person).
- When a membership ends, you can no longer book or redeem deals until you choose a plan.
4. Using deals
- Deals are offered by the restaurants. Each deal shows its conditions (what is included, exclusions and the waiting time before the same deal can be used again – 7, 15 or 30 days).
- Book the deal in the app. The ticket is valid until the end of that day (Beirut time).
- At the restaurant, show your ticket to the staff and swipe it in front of them to redeem it. A redeemed ticket cannot be used again.
- A ticket is personal and valid for one use. Deals have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or resold.
- Deals depend on the restaurant and may change or end. If a restaurant removes a deal, tickets that were already booked stay valid until they expire. Restaurants may refuse a deal in case of misuse.
5. Fair use
Do not share or sell tickets or accounts, create multiple accounts, redeem tickets without the restaurant staff present, manipulate ratings, or use BitePass for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Restaurants
Restaurants are independent businesses and are responsible for their food, drinks, service, allergen information and prices. BitePass provides the platform that connects members and restaurants.
7. Ratings and reports
Ratings and reports must be honest and lawful. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
8. Liability
We provide BitePass with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for the restaurants' services. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Ending the contract
You can delete your account at any time in the app (see Delete account). We may terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations of these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms for valid reasons and will inform you in the app in advance. Continuing to use BitePass after the change means you accept the new terms.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Lebanese law. Courts of [Beirut] have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
